What is the Athletes Housing Network?

It is basic knowledge that athletes don't get paid a lot of money unless they are world class and have a sponsor. Traveling and participating in an event can be financially restrictive, especially for families due to housing cost and availability.

Athletes Housing has been set up to hook up traveling athletes & their families with free housing while traveling to different venues. The intent of Athletes Housing is to provide athletes with a free place to stay near the event, enjoy the local culture, potentially stay with other athletes, enjoy local training courses with athletes that know the area, have the opportunity to cook their own meals (given the fact that athletes do eat differently), network and meet other athletes in the area, and return the favor of providing housing to other athletes.
